Canada has been a great partner with the United States for many years. Ottawa is situated one hour north of upstate New York's border. It is a growing city with easy access to many smaller towns and country-style settingsit's a great area for filming. The variety of shooting locations allows for an endless possibility for creating whatever scene you need. And, you can always count on friendly, easy-going people.
Canada's Capital has a great rate of exchange on the U.S. dollar, making it a perfect location for producers to consider for any film. "You can buy the town on a dime". Anything you can't get or wouldn't consider doing can easily be taken down the road (2-hour drive) or brought in from Montreal and/or Toronto.
Ottawa is one of the latest sites for the production of Crossed Signals and other ongoing feature film projects.
