Grant Films and partners are involved in trying to launch the production of the film Crossed Signals (WGAw). It’s similar to the production style of The Sixth Sense and The Whole Nine Yards – a good film idea that can be done with or without studio interest.

The “Trailer” was produced using models and local stage actors to generate curiosity in the screenplay. We have a great crew here in Ottawa and Montreal who worked extremely hard on the production.

I have taken off periods of time from my federal government duties – as a producer/director – to dedicate to writing and directing for film, primarily Crossed Signals.

Colleagues and friends in the film industry have encouraged me to follow through with this current film project. The screenplay was written ‘on spec’ with a conviction for the story and as a way to channel my creativity.

A good story is something that is now getting more attention. I have one of those stories – with characters that make this film concept worth considering. And, the bonus is that it keeps “the wallet in mind”. It’s a producer’s dream.
