TRAILER INDEPENDENT INDUSTRY RELEASE |
||
| The trailer for Crossed Signals was produced to draw executive interest in the screenplay. It outlines the premise of the film. The production would not have been possible without all the help from various people and co-operation of the local film industry. Everyone pooled together to get the job done. Although a very small-scale version of the final product, it is clear in my mind that this project can be a local success and provide all involved with a new look toward Ottawa as a continued player in the International film community. | ![]() |
Ottawa, Ontario John Grant's trailer Crossed Signals was released early this year. The executive screening was a good starting point for promoting the screenplay at Oscar's Restaurant, 123 Queen Street. |

Also featured was an excerpt of Derek Diorio's Two's a Mob and Frank Rodrigue's short film The Wallet. Industry people were out to screen these and other short pieces of work. Local recording artists in the band Where's Mike rocked the house for the remainder of the evening, featuring material from their CD Into The Night. | ||
